The Purdue Alumni Club of Atlanta has various offices to help manage and execute the many activites held for our alumni in the greater Atlanta area, please contact the President to get involved!
President/Risk-Manager: Lisa Wichmann - email
The president will preside at all meetings and will serve as the chief executive officer of the club, and shall serve a term of two years. Risk Manager - The risk officer will be responsible for implementing and assuring compliance with loss prevention practices established by the Purdue Alumni Association.
Vice President/Social: Judy Rodriguez - email
Supports presidential responsibilities and shall serve a term of two years.
Social: Andrew Drook - email
Responsible for the coordination of club social events which include but are not limited to Happy Hours and Club dinners and shall serve a term of two years.
Treasurer: Gary Longueuil - email
The treasurer will be responsible for handling all monies, fees, receipts, and payment of bills for the Purdue Club of Atlanta. Treasurer also manages our fees account with Purdue and is responsible for requesting reimbursement from Purdue for events. Technical requirements are familiarity with Excel, Mint.com, SquareUp Payment system, Paypal, online banking and access to Bank of America ATM. Shall serve a term of two years.
Secretary: Raghav Agarwal - email
The secretary will record the minutes of all meetings, preserve all written reports, serve as historian, keep an active official roll of club participants, provide e-communication of all club activities and shall serve a term of two years.
Big Ten: Kristen Quinlan - email
Attending the Big Ten Presidents/Reps Organizational Meeting in the spring before the bulk of Big Ten Alumni of Atlanta events, and either being our representative for every Big Ten event, or coordinating with someone else within the club to run those events. Responsible for all communications and volunteers for Big Ten events and making sure our club fulfills their responsibility for these events. These events include, but are not limited to: Big Ten Picnic, Big Ten Pub Crawl, Big Ten Golf Outing, and Networking events. Shall serve a term of two years.
Webmaster: Alan Rodriguez - email
Manage the digital presence of the club across our website (http://purdueatl.org) and social media channels such as Flickr, Twitter, and Facebook. Must have solid understanding of HTML/CSS and be familiar with Google calendar. Shall serve a term of two years.
Game-Watch: Joshua Berry - email
Organize, plan, and execute gamewatching events at our sportsbar including attendance sheets, scholarship raffle, announcements, and decoration. Also responsible for counting and recording the monies received at each event.
Scholarship: Phillip Cherry - email
Manage the solicitation, collection, distribution, scoring, and awarding of club scholarships to local Purdue students on an annual basis. Shall serve a term of two years.
Purdue Business Network: Ryan Applegate - email
Manage the club's involvement in professional and networking events as part of the Purdue Business Network, the professional association for Purdue alumni in the Atlanta area.
